AI Image Prompt Creation Guide
A Masonsoft AI prompt engineering tool, The Image Prompt is an XML-structured, multi-turn conversation framework for transforming vague image ideas into precise, ready-to-paste AI image-generation prompts. The tool produces text output only. All image generation happens separately, after the session ends, when the user takes the assembled prompt to their chosen platform. The framework guides users through five layers using labelled multiple-choice options at every decision point. Layer 1 establishes the intended platform and emotional register, determining aspect ratio and visual direction. Layer 2 defines the subject and scene in concrete visual terms, explicitly steering users away from abstract descriptions such as "innovation" or "teamwork." Layer 3 selects visual style and composition, with camera body and lens recommendations embedded for photorealistic options. Layer 4 determines lighting character and colour palette. Layer 5 locks in technical specifications including aspect ratio, depth of field, quality modifiers, text rendering instructions, and exclusions. A Confirmation step checks the brief before assembly begins. The assembled prompt follows the SCOPE framework and is delivered as a single, continuous paragraph to ensure reliable interpretation by image generators. Post-delivery sections cover the structural rationale, warm colour correction to address AI generators' default earthy tonal drift, and follow-up variation suggestions.
