- Subscription data. Your email address, and your name if you choose to provide it, when you subscribe to the Weekly AI Business Briefing, join a product waiting list or download a free resource.
- Purchase data. Your name, email address, billing details and purchase history when you buy a digital product. Card payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not receive or store your full card details.
- Correspondence. Any information you include when you contact us by email or through the website.

- Beehiiv, which hosts our mailing list and sends the Weekly AI Business Briefing.
- Payhip, which processes product purchases and delivers digital downloads. Payments made through this platform are handled by its payment processors, such as Stripe or PayPal, under their own privacy policies.
- InterServer.NET, which hosts this website.
We may also disclose personal data where required by law, or to professional advisers such as accountants where necessary for the running of the business.
5. International transfers
We are based in the United Kingdom and serve customers worldwide. Personal data therefore crosses borders in two directions.
Data coming to us. If you are in the European Economic Area, your personal data is transferred to the UK when you subscribe, purchase or contact us. The UK benefits from a European Commission adequacy decision, which means personal data may flow freely from the EEA to the UK without additional safeguards.
Data we send to our providers. Some of our service providers are based outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified.
6. How long we keep your data
- Mailing list data is kept for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your address is retained on a suppression list only, to ensure we do not email you again.
- Purchase and transaction records are kept for six years after the end of the relevant financial year, as required for tax purposes.
- Correspondence is kept for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards.
- Technical and analytics data is retained in accordance with the retention settings of the relevant provider, typically no more than 24 months.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
